Home theater installation, done properly
Clearresourcezone started in 2019 as a two-person operation working out of a van in Leeds, running speaker cable and mounting projector screens for neighbours and friends of neighbours. Seven years on, the company is a team of 23 people covering 9 areas around the city, but the job itself hasn't changed much: get the wiring right, hide what should be hidden, and leave a system that works the same way every time someone presses play.
We were founded on a fairly simple observation: most home cinema kit is sold well but installed badly. Cables get left exposed, speakers get placed for looks rather than sound, and calibration is often skipped entirely. That gap between what people paid for and what they actually got is what we set out to close.
What we're aiming for
Our mission is straightforward: install audio and video systems that perform correctly from day one and keep performing for years. We're not interested in upselling equipment nobody needs. We look at the room, the seating, the budget, and recommend what fits — sometimes that means a modest soundbar setup, sometimes a full seven-speaker surround system with a dedicated projector.
Looking ahead, we want to keep the business at a size where every job still gets proper attention from someone who's done this before, rather than growing into a call centre that dispatches whoever's free.
How we work
Every installation follows the same basic principles: cables run inside walls or trunking wherever possible, speaker placement is measured rather than guessed, and the system gets calibrated with test tones before we call the job finished. We also test the client's existing internet connection and streaming setup, since a badly configured network causes more home cinema problems than faulty hardware ever does.
Since 2019 we've completed 2,155 jobs for 1,127 clients across Leeds, and 392 of those clients came back to us for a second installation — usually a bedroom or garden room system once the living room setup proved itself. We reply to new enquiries within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
